About the Business
Jane Hamel worked professionally as a gardener for nine years before qualifying as a garden designer with the widely acclaimed Garden Design School where she was taught by leading designers Moira Farnham MSGD and Robin Templar Williams FSGD APLD. Her wealth of gardening experience has proved invaluable to her as a designer, giving her a profound understanding of plants and their requirements as well as an understanding of the needs of her clients.
She also has an RHS qualification in Horticulture, where she was taught by the inspirational (now late) horticulturalist and garden designer Ernie Bingham; and a first class honours degree in humanities from the Open University, as well as a National Diploma in Art and Design and numerous other qualifications. Jane is a pre-registered member of the Society of Garden Designers.
