About the Business
My love of gardens and gardening began as a hobby and has become my profession. During my 20 years of practical garden design and management of gardens, I have been inspired in many ways by gardens I have seen, plants I have encountered and people that I have met around the world.
My passion led me to the RHS, National Certificate and Diploma in Horticulture and onto my degree in Garden Art and Design. I continue to develop my own knowledge and to share my experience as I design gardens for people, and have taught horticulture at Leeds City College for the last 5 years, exhibit at flower shows, judge the local garden competition as well as giving talks to local groups, such as the Paxton Horticultural Society, Adel & District Horticultural Society, Calverley Men's Forum, all of whom share my passion for plants and the space they inhabit. My new venture for September 2011 is undertaking a Diploma in Floristry, thus diversifying and bringing additional skills to my clients.
