About the Business
I started working in my parents garden when I was a boy mainly interested in vegetable growing and more exotic plants in the greenhouse. After training at Hadlow Colledge of Agriculture and Horticulture I decided to work for Notcutts Garden Centres working my way up from 'Trolley boy' to Plant Centre Manager over a number of years. I loved my job but realised that my passion was for the plants and gardens and not for Christmas decorations, pet centres and restaurants.
So in 2001 decided to set up on my own starting a gardening business. While getting set up I worked at the Royal Horticultural Society in Surrey learning even more about plant associations and gardening through the seasons. I enjoy working with customers over a long period to help develop their gardens and estates. I am also happy to do 'one offs' rescuing neglected areas and border renovations.
