About the Business
After a number of years as part of a local charity operation the nursery is now run as an independent family business whilst still retaining our ties to the work of the charity. We are a traditional plant nursery and not the typical garden centre so therefore we do not sell sundries, furniture, barbeeques or "grandma's" home made jam! If you want plants then we are the place to visit. Our specialty is providing an extensive range of hardy plants throughout the year, at most times we have over 1000 varieties to choose from.
Many of these are grown by us from seeds and cuttings with a further range grown on from young plants. This, along with sourcing the larger stock from various suppliers, allows us to offer our plants at excellent value for money prices. We also offer a range of wild bird food, feeders and nest boxes and other wildlife habitat boxes, and don't forget the special plants to encourage wildlife into your garden.
