B&K Timber is a family run business established in 1985, we have over 30 years’ experience in providing bespoke wooden gates in Staffordshire and Cheshire, and we also supply other bespoke services such as fencing and sheds! In 2015 Terence Potts retired and handed over the reins to his son Carl and since then Carl has been with the company (officially employed) for twenty years with an abundance of experience having started from the bottom up. Alongside Carl in the office are his mother Linda Potts and his wife Lindsay Potts.

Here at B&K Timber, we are proud to say that we have a very skilled and experienced team who create stunning Wooden gates, from our city and guilds joiners to our knowledgeable fitting teams out on site. All our wooden gates in Staffordshire and Cheshire are PEFC, FSC certified timber. It is very important to us that we support the safeguarding of the world’s forests by using sustainable timber. Our softwood gates are produced from the highest of quality Scandinavian Slow Grown, Joinery Graded redwood timber using a traditional mortise and tenon joint. Our hardwood gates are manufactured using several different types of hardwood, for example, Oak, Idigbo, Iroko and Dark red meranti, all extremely visually pleasing but have a very high density, making the gates exceptionally durable.
